We have a very gorgeous challenge over at Kenny K's Krafty Krew for you this week. It is...
Lace & Pearls
So (obviously!) we want to see both lace and pearls on your creations this week. I initially thought vintage and wedding theme but I needed a card for a friend's birthday so this is what I came up with for my DT entry:
I love this image. She's called Queens Cutie and you can find her here. I really enjoyed colouring her and spent quite a long time on her. I also got out my white pen for the first time ever on a coloured image, for some reason I've been a bit scared to add highlights before but it turns out I quite like the result.
My lace goes horizontally across the card but I also snuck in a little bit in the flower cluster. I've had those lilac beaded flower stems for several years and this is the first card I've managed to use one on so I'm very pleased about that!
This week's Kenny K's Krafty Krew challenge is sponsored firstly by KennyK Downloads who are offering 5 digi images (yes FIVE!!) and also by Loves Rubber Stamps who are offering stamps up to the value of $10, so well worth joining in to be in with a chance of winning!
I'm going to enter my card into these few challenges:
Allsorts - For a Lady
Creative Corner Challenges - Use Designer Paper
Polka Doodles & Studio 12: Spring Flowers
Stampin for the Weekend: use lace
Thanks for looking and happy Sunday!
